Each year, the Anderson Education Foundation invites Anderson Community Schools teachers to propose innovative classroom projects they dream of conducting with their students...if only they had the financial resources to do so. The projects selected for funding may take place entirely in a classroom. Some may take students into local nature sites, such as Mounds State Park. Or, a trip to the Junior Achievement Finance Park in Indianapolis, which brings the personal finance curriculum to life for students. The scope of projects expands the curriculum and is a varied as the imagination of the educators and students involved.
The Anderson Education Foundation is excited to announce the release of our Impact Grant. All Anderson Community Schools (ACS) employees are eligible to apply for this grant that will fund a project or experience up to $5,000. Our hope is to reach out to those of you that have been dreaming of an impactful experience that is beyond the scope of our regular classroom grant budget. Please note the deadline for applications is January 31, 2022. The grant guidelines and application is below.
