Each year, the Anderson Education Foundation invites Anderson Community Schools teachers to propose innovative classroom projects they dream of conducting with their students...if only they had the financial resources to do so. The projects selected for funding may take place entirely in a classroom. Some may take students into local nature sites, such as Mounds State Park. Or a trip to the Junior Achievement Finance Park in Indianapolis, which brings the personal finance curriculum to life for students. The scope of projects expands the curriculum and is a varied as the imagination of the educators and students involved.
